Movado, Switzerland, "Celestograf" triple calendar with moonphase wristwatch, 17 jewels, manual winding, cal. 473 nickel plate movement with lever escapement in a stainless steel and 14 karat gold case, marked "1381" between lugs at 12:00, Arabic numerals and elongated pyramid marker two tone metal dial, with month and day apertures below 12:00, moonphase display at 6:00, and date at the dial perimeter, gilt Alpha hands, serial #D471381, 32mm, c1950.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor scratches and dings; Case back with very shallow dents; Corrector tube adjacent to crown corroded, pusher top with pitting; One other pusher tube with dings; Plastic crystal with fine scratches; Precious metal content tested. DIAL: Spotting and minor toning. HANDS: Oxidation. MOVEMENT PLATES: A few minor scratches on plate; Minor spotting; Regulator and a few screws with specks of oxide; Ratchet wheel screw with scratch; Dirty. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Runs briefly and stops, needs service. COMPLICATION FUNCTION: Functions properly; Correctors functioning properly.
